This course is designed for those students in Biostatistics who are interested in the principles of statistics. The goal of this class is to provide students the concepts, methods, and related theories to make statistical inference. More specifically, I will focus on 3 topics: point estimation, hypothesis testing, and asymptotic evaluations. Some basic probability concepts will also be reviewed in a fast pace.
